GREY'S CONFERENCE + EXHIBITION CENTRE

 The task was to take the existing 'Grey's School of Art' situated on the Robert Gordon University campus and renovate it into a conference + exhibition centre.

The key was to turn a building that is currently failing into a successfully operation modern build, while still trying to retain the modernist appeal of the design.

The approach to this was to conduct a

'deep renovation' as i felt that simply retrofitting the building would only help the issues for a small window of time. Where as a more drastic renovations could revive the building to modern standards and keep it running longer.
